    To ensure the highest quality of service and a smooth experience for every customer, please review our service guidelines below. By confirming your booking with Detailing Zone LLC, doing business as Cardetail1, you acknowledge and agree to these operational terms.

    1. RESERVATIONS, CANCELLATIONS & MULTIPLE VEHICLES

    Booking Appointments:

    A deposit or prepayment may be requested to secure your appointment. This helps us reserve technician time, manage our daily route, prepare products and equipment, and protect availability for serious bookings.

    Cancellations & Changes:

    We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

    Deposits are generally non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment, customer no-shows, or situations where the vehicle, vessel, RV, trailer, motorcycle, ATV, UTV, or equipment is unavailable upon our arrival.

    If a rescheduling request is made with reasonable notice, Cardetail1 may apply the deposit as a credit toward a future appointment, depending on scheduling availability and operational circumstances.

    Multiple Vehicles:

    If you book multiple vehicles for the same day, please make sure all scheduled vehicles are present and ready at the service location. If one or more vehicles are missing or unavailable upon our arrival, the reserved deposit for that vehicle or a reasonable no-show fee may apply, since that time was specifically reserved in our schedule.

    2. WEATHER & WORKING CONDITIONS

    Weather & Garage Policy:

    Our mobile services depend on safe and workable weather conditions. In the event of rain, storms, extreme cold, extreme heat, high winds, or unsafe weather, service may be rescheduled.

    If you can provide a covered, enclosed, well-lit garage or safe work area with proper access when needed, we may still be able to perform the service. If proper shelter or safe access is unavailable, Cardetail1 will reschedule the appointment to the next available suitable date at no penalty caused by weather.

    Service Delays:

    Estimated service durations are approximate. Traffic, weather, access limitations, previous appointments, or unexpected service complications may cause delays. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate any ETA adjustments.

    Local Restrictions:

    Service may be adjusted, paused, or rescheduled if work extends past reasonable local hours, violates property rules, marina rules, RV park rules, apartment rules, city restrictions, or causes disruption to neighbors or local authorities.

    3. PRICING & VEHICLE CONDITION ESTIMATES

    Starting Rates:

    All online prices are starting prices unless clearly stated otherwise. Prices are based on vehicles, vessels, RVs, trailers, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or equipment in average condition.

    Additional Charges:

    Additional charges may apply for excessive dirt, heavy pet hair, sand, mold, mildew, biological waste, odor, heavy staining, extreme mud, grease, tar, sap, water spots, oxidation, oversized vehicles, difficult access, tolls, paid parking, travel distance, marina access, RV park access, or any condition requiring additional time, labor, or products.

    On-Site Inspection:

    The technician will inspect the condition upon arrival. If the selected package does not match the actual condition or service needs, we will discuss any price adjustment before beginning the additional work.

    If the customer declines the adjustment, Cardetail1 may perform only the service included in the selected package or recommend rescheduling with the appropriate service level.

    4. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS, INSPECTION & SERVICE LIMITATIONS

    Pre-Existing Conditions:

    Detailing may reveal wear, damage, stains, scratches, fading, oxidation, cracks, loose trim, brittle plastics, broken vents, worn leather, damaged fabric, failing clear coat, poor prior repairs, or other conditions that were hidden by dirt, contamination, or buildup before cleaning.

    Cardetail1 is not responsible for pre-existing damage, age-related wear, fragile materials, poor prior repairs, failing surfaces, or cosmetic degradation that becomes visible during or after the detailing process.

    Fragile Materials:

    Some older, worn, damaged, neglected, or heavily contaminated materials may react unpredictably to cleaning, steam, agitation, chemicals, pressure, extraction, or polishing. Cardetail1 will use reasonable care and professional judgment, but cannot guarantee full restoration of damaged or aged materials.

    Battery Care:

    Some detailing services require doors, trunks, hatches, lights, or interior areas to remain open for extended periods. This may contribute to battery drain, especially in older vehicles or vehicles with weak batteries.

    Cardetail1 may provide reasonable on-site assistance if a battery issue occurs, such as notifying the customer or assisting with a jump-start if safe and available. However, Cardetail1 is not responsible for battery replacement, weak batteries, warning lights, pre-existing electrical issues, or mechanical failures unrelated to the detailing service.

    Personal Belongings:

    Please remove all personal belongings, valuables, money, firearms, medication, documents, electronics, car seats, loose items, and fragile property before the service begins.

    Cardetail1 is not responsible for loss, damage, movement, or misplacement of personal items left inside the vehicle, vessel, RV, trailer, motorcycle, ATV, UTV, or work area.

    Quality Check & Review:

    We ask that you inspect the completed service with our technician immediately upon completion whenever possible. Any visible concerns should be addressed before the technician leaves.

    Quality-related concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service completion with photos or videos when possible. After this inspection window, Cardetail1 cannot accept responsibility for new damage, mechanical issues, environmental exposure, customer use, or conditions unrelated to the detailing service.

    Accidental Errors:

    We take great care with every vehicle and service. In the rare event that damage is directly caused by our team during the detailing service, our responsibility will be limited to the reasonable repair of the specific affected area or the amount paid for the service, whichever is less, except where prohibited by law.

    This limitation does not apply to intentional misconduct, reckless conduct, or gross negligence where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

    5. SERVICE RESULTS & LIMITATIONS

    Detailing improves cleanliness, appearance, protection, and overall condition, but it does not guarantee full restoration of every surface.

    Some stains, odors, water spots, scratches, oxidation, pet hair, mold staining, dye transfer, rust, etched marks, mineral deposits, tar, sap, road paint, overspray, or heavy contamination may not be fully removable.

    Paint enhancement, gloss enhancement, oxidation improvement, polishing, or marine/RV surface improvement services are not the same as full paint correction unless specifically stated in writing.

    Ceramic coating, wet sanding, heavy paint correction, severe oxidation restoration, mold remediation, biohazard cleaning, underwater hull work, roof repair, awning repair, mechanical work, electrical work, and disassembly are not included unless specifically agreed in writing.

    6. BOATS, RVS, TRAILERS & SPECIALTY VEHICLES

    Boats & Marine Services:

    Boat services require the boat to be on a trailer, lift, dry dock, or otherwise safely accessible. If the boat is in the water, service is limited to areas safely reachable above the waterline.

    Underwater hull cleaning, barnacle removal, bottom paint work, unsafe dock access, severe oxidation restoration, wet sanding, cabin deep cleaning, and mechanical marine work are not included unless separately agreed in writing.

    RVs & Trailers:

    RV and trailer services do not include roof or awning cleaning unless selected as a separate add-on. Roof and awning services depend on safe access, material, condition, weather, height, and technician discretion.

    Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs & Specialty Vehicles:

    For motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, powersports vehicles, work trucks, fleet vehicles, sleeper trucks, golf carts, and specialty vehicles, pricing and scope may vary based on size, condition, mud, grease, access, and service limitations.

    7. PHOTOS & VIDEOS

    Cardetail1 may take before, during, and after photos/videos of the vehicle, vessel, RV, trailer, motorcycle, ATV, UTV, or equipment for documentation, quality control, training, dispute prevention, and marketing.

    We will make reasonable efforts to protect your privacy by blurring or cropping license plates, personal documents, addresses, private items, and identifying information before public use when appropriate.

    If you do not want your vehicle used for public marketing, please notify us before service begins. Documentation photos may still be taken for service records, condition records, and protection of both parties.

    8. REFUSAL OF SERVICE & SAFE ENVIRONMENT

    Cardetail1 reserves the right to refuse, stop, reschedule, or modify service if the technician determines that the service location, vehicle condition, customer conduct, weather, access, contamination, or requested work creates an unsafe or unreasonable risk.

    This may include, but is not limited to, hazardous biological waste, mold exposure, unsafe parking, aggressive behavior, illegal work location, restricted property access, poor lighting, unsafe dock access, unsafe RV roof access, extreme weather, or service needs outside the selected package.

    If service is stopped due to unsafe conditions, customer misrepresentation, unavailable vehicle, restricted access, or conditions outside the selected package, deposits or reasonable service fees may be retained to cover time, travel, preparation, and scheduling loss.

    9. PAYMENTS, CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES

    Payment is due according to the booking, invoice, or payment arrangement agreed before service.

    Unfounded chargebacks, fraudulent payment claims, unauthorized payment disputes, identity misuse, or knowingly false damage claims may be disputed and handled according to applicable law.

    Cardetail1 reserves the right to recover unpaid balances, chargeback fees, collection costs, administrative costs, legal fees, and related losses where permitted by law.

    10. GOVERNING LAW

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

    11. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

    By booking, confirming, paying for, or allowing service to begin, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
